Under this concept, Candelas refers to their main marketing channels: Horeca and Food, which are represented in the video as a gesture of appreciation and gratitude by the coffee company.

 

The video presents coffee as a primary element in the everyday life of millions of people, a beverage present at the most important moments of their lives. The cup is the closest representation of coffee, but there is a complex process behind it which starts with the coffee growers. And at that moment, Cafés Candelas is already present.

 

From a friendly point of view and a warm and refined image, Candelas recalls their more than 40-year experience and tradition in the sector, decades it has shared with their customers always offering the best. The video shows the whole coffee process through Candelas, with pictures of the daily work at the plant and of how that work translates into the consumer's daily life, both of Horeca and Food channels.

Company figures
In 2013, Cafés Candelas sold more than 5,000 tons of coffee, reaching a turn-over of 50 million euros in overall sales. The catering service channel has the largest volume of business for the company, with a percentage of 85%, followed by the food channel, with 13%. Vending and online sales involve a 2% of turn-over.

 

Currently, Cafés Candelas occupies a leading position in the domestic market as a coffee roaster and supplier in the catering service sector, while also remaining a leading company in the Portuguese coffee market.
